Hertford U14 Girls at last got their first win in the U14 National Cup. the game was fierecely competitive with Holly Mayes and Ella Sherring winning with the midfield battle. Goal after 15 minutes, a fluent fast movement of the ball from Ella, to Molly Hobson passing to Lucy Heald who finished nicely at the right post. 1-0

Chelmsford, unfortunately responded quickly and within 1 minute after pressure within our D and on the left side of our goal scored a scrappy tap in to make the score in 1-1 (16 mins)

Hertford went back in to the lead 2-1 in the 22nd minute when a accurate and fast pass from Lucy Heald around the half way line, released Molly Hobson to run quickly on the Chelmsford goal minder, after the third attempt scored.

Midway through the second half a pass from Holly Mayes released Ella Sherring into the D who struck a fast rising ball that struck the upper part of the post, an almost wonder goal. However, 3 minutes from the end of the game a strong interlining move with Ella Sherring driving the ball into the D, passing to Molly Hobson and Emily Parry finished off on the left post (67 Minute).

This was a strong performance from the whole team and with only two games left hopefully the team can maintain winning ways.
